This year Community Healthy advocacy Network at Nation (CHANAN) and Human rights Network collectively celebrated International Women’s Day in District Multan.

In Multan CHANAN gathered more than 30 females to celebrate International women’s Day. CHANAN conducted a session on the history of International Women’s Day and its importance in current circumstances. Session was on encouraging women to come up and raise their voice for a better society to live in. CHANAN used the symbol of Candle to symbolize Peace and Harmony. All the participants were happy to have this commemoration in their area.  Through celebrating international women’s day, the facilitator spread the essential understanding of gender equality and social justice in the society we are living in.
