First Session on Women’s Human Rights

1st Month of the Human Rights course for
Domestic Workers

Session of the Course at LDA Quarters:

First Session was organized at LDA quarters on 13th of April 2016. Around 18 Females participated in the session and showed great interest regarding the course. CHANAN designed this course entitled “Human Rights Course for Domestic Workers” to enable them to know deeper about their Human Rights. Through this course CHANAN aims to enable them to stand up for their rights, to raise their voices for the cause collectively.  CHANAN aims to give them a platform where they can discuss their issues and where they can get conclusion to resolve conflicts collectively.
The session started off with the introduction of all the participants then the introduction of CHANAN and the Human Development Course. CHANAN informed them about our objectives regarding the course. CHANAN informed them that the course will be based on different kind of sessions e.g. Leadership, Gender Equality, Legal awareness, Role of Effective communication, Peace, Conflict Resolution, Advocacy, Confidence Building, Role of Collective efforts etc. The participants showed positive feedback regarding the course that it should organized for all of us and we will participate with our full of passion and energy.

CHANAN informed them that we will give completion certificates to all the participants who will attend minimum 9 sessions out of 12. At the end all the females pledged that we will appear in all the sessions as it is going to be fruitful for us and our families: The learning will help us at every sphere of our lives.
