Project Report

CHANAN with collaboration of United Nations Volunteer Program (UNV) and UNWomen: conducted theater performances on Gender Equality from Nov 2017-March 2018. More than 700 participants joined these theater performances.  These activities were conducted with grassroots community, civil society and diverse youth of grass root communities. The major objective of these theater performances were to promote the  Women’s Human Rights, Importance of Girls Education, Forced and Early Age Marriages  and role of society to end Gender Based Violence Against Women. Participants of these theater events were appreciated the theater performances and took part in discussion.  For the successful completion of these events and contribution for the great cause of Women’s human rights, UNV and UNWomen appreciated CHANAN with an appreciation award. Participants of these events were very excited and appreciated the events, audience of these events wish to continue these kinds of awareness  program in future.
