To celebrate the international women’s day 2012, CHANAN conducted the verity of activities in communities for the importance of women and gender balance to support the women. CHANAN celebrated the one week campaign under the theme of International women’s Day
The activities were including theater seminars, candle vigil, dialogue with domestic workers. Community women liked the activities very much, and promised to promote the gender balance at their home, support the cause of CHANAN to reduce the domestic violence at home; promote the equality among their children. Around 300 women and men directly participated in all activities.
